Job summary

Morning Star Milling Corporation in Pasig City seeks an Assistant Baker to assist in baking flour samples for bread, cookies, cakes, and steam buns, ensuring the flour's quality. You will prepare materials and equipment and document testing data.

The ideal candidate is at least a high school graduate, with 2–3 years baking experience, and open to working Mondays through Saturdays in Bagong Ilog. TESDA Bread and Pastry certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• Graduate in Baking School is an advantage, or have a TESDA Certificate in Bread and Pastry Production.
• At least 2-3 years work experience in baking.
• Competent in baking any kind of bread and bread products.
• Knowledge in flour rheology is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform baking demonstration.
• Amendable to work from Mondays to Saturdays at Bagong Ilog, Pasig City.

Responsibilities

• Performs baking test of flour samples.
• Prepares materials and equipment/utensils to be used in baking.
• Documents testing data, calibration and cleaning records.
• Cleaning of equipment and utensils.
