Job summary

Coherent Corp. Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to establish, evaluate, revise, and apply QA protocols to inspect raw materials and finished products in a 100% onsite setting.

You will ensure adherence to manufacturing inspection, sampling, and SPC procedures, analyze trends, recommend corrective actions, and support MRB items while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving quality improvements in a semiconductor/electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor or electronics/optoelectronics.
• Experience leading quality assurance initiatives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish, evaluate, revise, and apply QA protocols to inspect raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure manufacturing inspection, sampling and SPC procedures are followed.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Qualify and optimize processes via Gage R&R, PCS, and DoE.
• Investigate failures and address MRB items with timely action plans.

Job Description

• Responsible for establishing , evaluating, revising, and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test raw materials and finished products.
• Ensuring that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• Performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of finished products, raw materials and recommends corrective actions whenever necessary.
• Qualify and optimize processes through Gage R&R Studies, Process Capability Studies and Designs of Experiments.
• Participate in the investigation of failures and formulation and implementation of action plans for all internal and external corrective actions, audit findings and address MRB items in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience semiconductor or electronics / optoelectronics industry.

Skills

• Demonstrated leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical analysis.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001 management system.
• Proficient in using statistical software such as JMP.
• Proficiency in developing Quality Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI is a strong advantage.
• Certified Internal Auditor is preferred
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
