Job summary

Coherent Corp. seeks a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure materials and finished products meet rigorous quality and safety standards. You will conduct visual and measurement tests on outgoing materials, in-process production, and finished goods, recording findings and coordinating with engineering for adjustments.

Role is 100% onsite in the Philippines, with a shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in quality inspection, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in process quality inspection.
• Familiarity with quality standards and documentation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and products meet quality and safety standards per documentation.
• Approve outgoing materials after visual and measurement tests; reject non-conforming items.
• Approve in-process production and perform in-process audits; communicate adjustments to engineering teams.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications and ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Maintain and publish an inspection log; alert management to quality problems.
• Collect and consolidate rejects; document in the quality database and safekeep items.
• Report non-conforming materials and hold production when needed.
