Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines (Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd) seeks a seasoned QA professional to establish and improve QA protocols for raw materials and finished products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive SPC/FMEA/8D/CAPA activities and contribute to ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, with JMP and Power BI proficiency as a strong advantage. You will work 100% onsite in a cleanroom and office environment, collaborating across internal teams to sustain product quality and drive

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with at least 5 years of relevant semiconductor or electronics/optoelectronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish, evaluate, revise and apply QA protocols/methods to inspect and test raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure manufacturing inspection, sampling and SPC procedures are followed.
• Analyze inspections, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Qualify and optimize processes via Gage R&R, Process Capability and DOE.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions, address MRB items promptly.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing, evaluating, revising, and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test raw materials and finished products.
• Ensuring that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• Performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of finished products, raw materials and recommends corrective actions whenever necessary.
• Qualify and optimize processes through Gage R&R Studies, Process Capability Studies and Designs of Experiments.
• Participate in the investigation of failures and formulation and implementation of action plans for all internal and external corrective actions, audit findings and address MRB items in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience semiconductor or electronics / optoelectronics industry.

Skills

• Demonstrated leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical analysis.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001 management system.
• Proficient in using statistical software such as JMP.
• Proficiency in developing Quality Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI is a strong advantage.
• Certified Internal Auditor is preferred
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
