Job summary

HRTx Inc in Makati is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for onsite testing duties. Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with a possibility of hybrid work. You will design and execute tests, verify defects, and help ensure software quality for client-facing applications.

The ideal candidate holds a related degree and at least 1 year of QA experience, with strong analytical and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 1 year of QA/testing experience in IT.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, documentation, defect tracking; automation testing is a plus.
• Familiar with enterprise apps, databases, and business systems; experience in accounting/audit apps preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality, system enhancements, and process changes.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business and operational requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects while collaborating with developers, IT teams, and business users to support timely resolution.
• Review system requirements and business processes to ensure appropriate test coverage and identify potential quality risks.
• Maintain testing documentation, prepare test reports, and provide recommendations to improve QA processes and application quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in quality assurance, software testing, application support, or a related IT role.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test documentation, defect tracking, and testing tools; experience with automation testing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and business systems; experience supporting accounting, audit, or professional services applications is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
