Job summary

HRTX in Makati, Philippines, invites applications for an IT Assurance professional. The role is onsite with potential hybrid setup, standard Monday–Friday schedule, and responsibilities spanning IT governance, controls testing, and risk assessment.

You will lead engagements, conduct walkthroughs, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or Accountancy.
• At least 1 year of IT assurance, cybersecurity, IT governance, IT risk, or GRC experience.
• Experience in IT controls testing, cybersecurity assessments, risk analysis, audit documentation, and client walkthroughs.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT assurance and business consulting engagements to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct client walkthroughs to evaluate IT processes and controls and identify risks.
• Oversee engagement teams, review workpapers, mentor staff, ensure quality and adherence to firm methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managed IT assurance and business consulting engagements covering information security, cybersecurity governance, IT governance, and business resilience, ensuring projects were delivered on time and aligned with engagement objectives.
• Conducted client walkthroughs to evaluate IT processes and internal controls, identify key risks, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Oversaw engagement teams by delegating responsibilities, reviewing workpapers and project deliverables, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with firm methodologies and quality standards.
• Collaborated closely with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to communicate engagement progress, resolve issues, and facilitate the timely completion of project milestones.
• Supported the successful execution of consulting engagements by managing documentation, coordinating project activities, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accountancy, or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in IT assurance, cybersecurity, IT governance, IT risk, or GRC-related engagements.
• Experience in IT controls testing, cybersecurity assessments, risk analysis, audit documentation, and client walkthroughs.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
