Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in purchasing or procurement, proficiency in Excel, and strong negotiation skills. This on-site role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & vendor evaluation: research potential suppliers, compare quotes, evaluate reliability and quality.
• Negotiation & contracting: negotiate pricing, discounts, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Order management: generate, approve, and track purchase orders and coordinate deliveries.
• Inventory control: monitor stock levels and coordinate reorders.
• Record keeping & reconciliation: maintain purchasing logs and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

Sotogrande Hotel & Resorts is looking for Purchasing Staff in Sotogrande Iloilo Hotel Inc. located in Green Meadows Avenue, Brgy. Tacas Jaro, Iloilo City. Purchasing Staff manages the end-to-end procurement of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, engineering parts, and services while keeping costs low and quality high.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Evaluation: Research potential suppliers, compare price quotes, and evaluate vendor reliability, product quality, and delivery history.

• Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, discounts, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.

• Order Management: Generate, approve, and track purchase orders (POs), and coordinate incoming deliveries in receiving teams.

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, review requisition forms, and coordinate reorders to prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Record Keeping & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate purchasing logs, inspect delivery dockets, and resolve discrepancies or defective goods with vendors.

About you

• A Graduate ofBachelor's degree in Business or Logistics, or a related field is preferred by most employers, though some entry-level roles.

• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative/inventory roles.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Canvassing.

• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time-management abilities
