Qualifications

About the role

Sotogrande Hotel & Resorts is looking for Purchasing Staff in Sotogrande Iloilo Hotel Inc. located in Green Meadows Avenue, Brgy. Tacas Jaro, Iloilo City. Purchasing Staff manages the end-to-end procurement of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, engineering parts, and services while keeping costs low and quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential suppliers, compare price quotes, and evaluate vendor reliability, product quality, and delivery history

• Negotiate pricing, discounts, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers

• Generate, approve, and track purchase orders (POs), and coordinate incoming deliveries in receiving teams

• Monitor stock levels, review requisition forms, and coordinate reorders to prevent shortages or overstocking

• Maintain accurate purchasing logs, inspect delivery dockets, and resolve discrepancies or defective goods with vendors

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics, or a related field

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative/inventory roles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Canvassing

• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time-management abilities
