Job summary

ZE ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING SERVICES LIMITED in the Philippines seeks an experienced Purchasing/Buyer to manage orders, supplier pools, and on-time material deliveries for electronics manufacturing.

The role collaborates with Quality, Planning and Sales to ensure data accuracy in the ERP system and to drive supplier negotiations and process improvements.

Candidates should have at least five years in purchasing, with a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related fields.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in Purchasing/Buyer in electronics manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or purchasing related subjects.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing orders, including sample orders, and ensure on-time payments.
• Create a pool of potential new suppliers and coordinate with Quality to release it.
• Control mass production material deliveries to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Planning to manage material levels.
• Maintain supplier information and material data in the ERP system on time.
• Assist with supplier negotiations during annual reviews.
• Support Sales with information for customer inquiries.
• Assist with supplier complaint handling with Quality.
• Suggest process improvements for Purchasing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• In change of handling purchasing orders (include sample orders), on time payments and support material managing for new project activities
• Create a pool of possible new suppliers and together with Quality department release it
• Control mass production material deliveries to ensure on time delivery
• Together with Planning department control material level in the company
• Maintain supplier’s information and material data in ERP system on time
• During the annual negotiation will be support with communication with suppliers
• Together with Quality department manage complaint process to suppliers
• Support Sales department with needed information related to customers questions
• Suggest process improvements, not only limited on Purchasing processes

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years working on Purchasing/Buyer position in Electronical related Manufacturing environment.
• College degree (Bachelor's degree is an advantage) with major in logistic or purchasing related subjects.
