Job summary

Lennor Metier Consulting is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing and supply chain solutions company to recruit a Logistics Manager in Taguig City. The role focuses on overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution, driving cost efficiency and service quality across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics with supervisory experience, strong planning and leadership abilities, and proficiency in Excel/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehousing, fleet management, and 3PL coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP or logistics software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and meet business objectives.
• Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation planning, scheduling, dispatch, and distribution.
• Manage logistics personnel, drivers, and 3PL providers to ensure service levels.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance to support inventory movement.
• Build relationships with logistics partners and service contractors.
• Monitor transport performance, costs, and timelines, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare logistics reports and KPIs for management updates.
• Conduct site visits to warehouses and locations to oversee operations.

Work Setup

Primarily on-site from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Saturdays when required by business needs.

Shift Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional Saturday work depending on business requirements.

The role

The Logistics Manager will oversee the company's logistics operations, ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective transportation, warehousing, and distribution of materials and products. This role is responsible for optimizing logistics processes, managing logistics partners and teams, and ensuring seamless coordination across business operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and support business objectives.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation planning, delivery scheduling, dispatch, and distribution.
• Manage logistics personnel, drivers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support inventory movement and customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, freight providers, and service contractors.
• Monitor transportation performance, delivery timelines, costs, and service levels while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and logistics documentation requirements.
• Prepare logistics reports, monitor KPIs, and provide operational updates to management.
• Conduct site visits to warehouses, project sites, and company locations to oversee logistics activities and resolve operational concerns.
• Perform other logistics and supply chain-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain management, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehouse operations, fleet management, and third-party logistics coordination.
• Proven experience leading logistics teams and managing external logistics providers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP, warehouse, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct field visits and travel to company sites, warehouses, and project locations as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic four-wheel vehicles.
• Willing to work on-site in Taguig City.
