Job summary

Lennor Metier Consulting in the Philippines partners with a leading chemical manufacturing and supply chain solutions company to recruit a Purchasing Assistant based in Taguig City.

The role supports procurement operations by coordinating with suppliers, processing Purchase Requisitions and POs, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services needed by the company. On-site work with Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or related role.
• Knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, PO processing, and delivery monitoring.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily purchasing activities including sourcing, canvassing, and processing procurement requests.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quotations, confirmations, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Source suppliers and evaluate quotations based on cost, quality, and lead time.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on pending orders for timely completion.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, and related documents.
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and Operations on purchasing transactions.
• Assist in supplier performance monitoring and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide updates on order status and deliveries.
