Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to join TTC Group of Companies in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement function, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of materials and services that support our business objectives. This position is central to optimizing our supply chain efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of inventory management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive purchasing strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service standards
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and delivery conditions
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with agreed standards
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with operations to maintain optimal stock whilst minimising carrying costs
• Analyze market trends and commodity prices to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic procurement initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve supply chain issues promptly and professionally
• Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to senior management on spending, supplier performance, and market conditions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement standards
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of procurement and purchasing experience, ideally within manufacturing, real estate industry.
• Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship development
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and cost analysis methodologies
• Proficiency in procurement software systems and ERP platforms
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Experience leading and developing procurement teams
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards
