Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in purchasing, inventory, or automotive servicing preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, procurement and inventory control.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate qualified suppliers.
• Canvass and compare prices of parts and materials.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions.
• Purchase and/or pick up parts from accredited suppliers.
• Record parts issued per vehicle and maintain service repair records.
• Coordinate and reconcile inventory with the Warehouseman.
• Assist mechanics in vehicle repairs, parts replacement, and assembly/reassembly of components.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes during PMS.
• Inspect completed repairs for safety and roadworthiness.
• Assist the Tinsmith/Welder and Tire Technician as needed.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.




• Willing to travel for parts procurement and support workshop operations.




• Must have driver's license for 4wheels.
