Job Description

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of products from international suppliers to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Local canvas of office and operation requirements
• Preparation of PO, Goods Receipt List via SAP Business One
• Processing of importation
• Communicate with overseas suppliers regarding orders
• Check completeness and accuracy of shipping documents
• Ensure that all shipments comply with PH FDA registration
• Work with freight forwarders and custom broker about shipment
• Track shipments from origin to destination, monitor ETD and ETA, report any delays
• Preparing Landed Cost, computation of duties and taxes
