Job summary

Oak Drive Capital Inc. is seeking a Purchasing and Warehousing Staff to manage the full cycle from purchase requests to delivery, storage, and issuance in Siargao and nearby sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and 1–2 years in purchasing or inventory control; physical fitness to lift up to 25 kg; willingness to work overtime during counts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, or a related course.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing, warehousing, or inventory control. Fresh graduates with relevant OJT may apply.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 25 kg, stand and walk for long periods, and climb ladders or racks.
• Willing to do warehouse fieldwork and occasional overtime during inventory counts or peak deliveries.

Overview:

The Purchasing and Warehousing Staff sources supplies at the best cost and keeps inventory accurate, safe, and ready for operations. The role handles the full cycle from purchase request to delivery, storage, and issuance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchasing

• Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Canvass at least three suppliers per major purchase and compare price, quality, and lead time.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Build and maintain an accredited supplier list and evaluate supplier performance.
• Follow up on open orders and resolve delays, shortages, or wrong deliveries.
• Check supplier invoices against POs and receiving reports before passing them to Accounting.
• Keep purchasing records complete for audit and BIR compliance.

Warehousing

• Receive, inspect, and count incoming deliveries against the PO and delivery receipt.
• Store items properly by labeling, binning, and following FIFO or FEFO.
• Issue stocks only against approved requisition slips.
• Update the inventory system or stock cards daily.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in the year-end physical inventory.
• Monitor reorder points and raise purchase requests before stockouts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.
• Report damaged, expired, slow-moving, or missing items.

Reporting

• Submit weekly inventory and open-PO reports.
• Prepare monthly purchasing cost and supplier performance summaries.

• Forklift or pallet jack operation is an advantage.
• Can drive 2 wheels/4wheel vehicle is a plus
• Willing to be assigned in Siargao and other projects as needed
