Job summary

EPS Staffing Service Group, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a procurement and supply chain professional to oversee verification and inspection activities for vessel operations.

You will source, purchase, and settle orders, supply chemicals, and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure the best pricing. You will manage inventory, data integrity, system updates, and work closely with senior purchasing officers, technical superintendents, and the management team onboard to maintain safe and efficient

Responsibilities

• Systematically monitors the effectiveness of verification and inspection activities within his / her department and within the fleet.
• Responsible for sourcing, purchasing and settle orders
• Supply any chemicals needed on the vessels
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms/conditions
• Manage the inventory, data integrity and system updates
• Close cooperation with the Senior purchasing officer
• Close cooperation with the technical superintendents
• Provide assistance and guidance to the management team onboard
• Full control and responsibility of supplied provision
• Full control and responsibility of on board stock of personal protecting equipment
• Cooperate with the accounting department, regarding tracing and approve invoices
• Responsible for safe and correct work conditions onboard and in the office
• Any other ad hoc duties
• Accountable for achieving your objectives
