Job summary

TOA Global is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to work with an Australian public practice client in the Philippines. You will manage payroll, GST, BAS, and financial statements from our Tarlac facility, aligned with Australian industry standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with onshore management, with access to specialized accounting training and a stable daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an Australian public practice
• Active Xero Certification with practical familiarity of XPM and Xero Payroll
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and Australian payroll/GST mechanics
• Strong English communication and time-management skills
• Graduate degree in Accountancy or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions up to Trial Balance and prepare financial statements for lodgment with the ATO
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and cash flow reports for international clients
• Reconcile GST and assist BAS calculations
• Auto-match bank feeds and maintain ledgers in Xero ecosystems
• Run payroll cycles using Xero Payroll and verify compliance metrics
• Assist year-end audit and grant reporting and support planning phase
