Job summary

TOA Global is seeking an Intermediate Accountant in the Philippines to support an Australian public practice client. You will handle ledger work, payroll, BAS, and financial statements from our Tarlac facility, aligning with Australian standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of Australian practice experience, Xero Certification, and strong English communication. Onsite, hybrid, or remote work arrangements are available to suit the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working directly within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• Active Xero Certification with practical familiarity with XPM and Xero Payroll.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, asset registers, and Australian payroll/GST.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for onshore collaboration.
• Graduate degree in Accountancy or related commercial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions from journals to lodgments and prepare financial statements for ATO lodgment.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts, cash flows, and performance reports for international clients.
• Reconcile GST accounts and coordinate BAS calculations with Australian requirements.
• Auto-match bank feeds, reconcile accounts in cloud systems, and maintain ledgers precisely.
• Run payroll cycles using Xero Payroll and ensure compliance with leave provisions.
