Job summary

TOA Global in the Philippines is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support Australian public practice clients from our Tarlac facility. You will manage journals, BAS and payroll, and help prepare financial statements in line with Australian standards.

Role requires Xero Certification and hands-on experience with XPM and Xero Payroll, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The position offers a day shift and onsite collaboration in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an Australian public practice firm.
• Xero Certification is mandatory with practical experience in XPM and Xero Payroll.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, assets, liabilities, and Australian payroll/GST mechanics.
• Strong time management and attention to detail to meet compliance deadlines and maintain workpapers quality.
• Excellent written and spoken English and clear onshore communication.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions up to Trial Balance and prepare financial statements for lodgment with the ATO.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, cash flows, and performance reports for international clients.
• Reconcile GST accounts and coordinate BAS calculations and lodgments.
• Auto-match bank feeds and reconcile complex accounts in cloud systems; develop automated coding rules.
• Run payroll cycles with Xero Payroll and verify compliance metrics.
• Support year-end audits and assist with planning and reporting to clients.
