Job summary

TOA Global is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. You will collaborate with an Australian public practice client to manage core corporate accounting and compliance, from ledger tracking and payroll to full financial statements and BAS.

Work from our Tarlac facility with access to TOA Global's specialized training programs aligned to Australian standards. The role requires 2–3 years of Australian practice experience, Xero Certification, and strong accounting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• Active Xero Certification is mandatory, with practical familiarity with XPM and Xero Payroll.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, asset registers, and Australian payroll/GST mechanics.
• Strong time management to meet compliance deadlines while maintaining workpaper quality.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to align with onshore management.

Responsibilities

• From Journals to Lodgments: process client transactions to Trial Balance and compile financial statements ready for lodgment with the ATO.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, cash flows, and performance reports for international clients.
• GST and BAS: reconcile GST, manage BAS calculations, and coordinate lodgments.
• Ledger maintenance: reconcile accounts and manage bank feeds within cloud systems.
