Job summary

MyOutDesk is seeking a Property Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operations and financial performance of an ~80-door scattered single-family portfolio in the greater Cleveland area. You will manage maintenance, vendor networks, and regulatory compliance with an AI-assisted workflow.

The role is hands-on, end-to-end, and designed for an independent contractor working remotely for US-based client portfolios.

Qualifications

• Scattered single-family property management experience required across a market, not just multifamily.
• Hands-on Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher experience with HQS/NSPIRE inspections.
• Direct Cleveland/OH property management exposure and work with CMHA/EDEN/North Coast Housing Connections.
• Experience with Rent Manager or similar PM platforms and AI-powered maintenance tools.
• Active real estate broker license eligibility in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance requests, vendors, and approvals within cost controls.
• Oversee Section 8 processes, inspections, and voucher administration.
• Handle rent collection, accounts payable, and financial records with a bookkeeper.
• Coordinate leasing with local agents and renewals to minimize vacancies.
