Job summary

SMDC is seeking an experienced facilities engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of building systems in a residential project in Cavite (Tagaytay area). You will supervise engineers and technicians, manage preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with service providers to meet SLA requirements.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting support, and ability to handle utilities monitoring and renovation coordination. On-site work in the residential complex is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in basic computer and office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of building systems and equipment in the residential project.
• Supervise shift engineers and technicians for preventive and corrective work.
• Prepare maintenance programs for MEP, fire protection, and utilities.
• Maintain technical records, manuals, and turnover documents.
• Monitor permits, licenses, and government requirements.
• Assist in annual budget planning (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Coordinate with service providers and ensure SLA adherence.
• Review renovation plans per House Rules and Guidelines.
• Prepare monthly engineering reports and track utilities.
• Facilitate bidding for major engineering/building requirements.
• Support billing and invoicing related to utilities and jobs.
