Job summary

OCS Philippines is seeking a Property Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of building systems across diverse properties. You will manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance to keep facilities safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, 1+ year of facilities or building engineering experience, and a PE license is preferred or required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in facilities or building engineering operations.
• Experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use properties is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred or required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, elevators, and other machinery.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Ensure continuous operation of critical building systems with minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and common areas.
• Maintain asset registers and engineering records.
• Monitor building infrastructure condition and recommend capital improvements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Implement workplace safety policies and procedures.
