Job summary

CBRE Philippines is seeking a qualified Building Engineer in Quezon City to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems, grounds, and equipment. You will work under limited supervision, applying carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and other trade skills.

Responsibilities include inspecting fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, ensuring client specifications, coordinating with external contractors, and maintaining energy management practices to minimize operating costs.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (Required)
• 1–2 years' work experience as a Building Engineer
• Experience in commercial property/office building is advantageous
• Willing to be assigned in Quezon City

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design capabilities and client standards.
• Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors (landscaping, HVAC, cleaners, etc.).
• Performs maintenance, emergency and preventive repairs, and maintains records and inventories.
