WorkStaff360 Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Real Estate & Short-Term Rental Bookkeeper with experience in US bookkeeping to manage property-level books in QuickBooks Online and to allocate transactions across multiple rental properties.

You will reconcile accounts, prepare weekly property and portfolio reports, and ensure accurate depreciation and fixed asset handling in coordination with our CPA. Strong Excel skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience bookkeeping for real estate investments, property management companies, or short-term rental businesses.
• Understanding of Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and other short-term rental revenue and payout structures.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare property-level profit and loss statements.
• Understanding of real estate acquisitions, property sales, mortgage accounting, and fixed assets.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Responsabilités

• Review and categorize all banking and credit card transactions weekly in QuickBooks Online.
• Allocate every income and expense transaction to the correct rental property.
• Prepare and deliver weekly financial reports showing performance of each property and the portfolio.
• Reconcile all bank accounts and credit cards monthly.
• Maintain organized digital filing system for invoices, receipts, statements, and other documents.
• Coordinate with CPA for year-end closing and tax documentation.
• Record property purchases, closing costs, loan balances, and capital contributions.
• Maintain separate accounting records for each investment property.
