Job summary

Octal Philippines, Inc. is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for a property development and real estate company in Quezon City. You will support accounting operations, maintain ledgers, perform reconciliations, and assist with tax and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with BIR rules. Experience with QuickBooks or SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with BIR requirements is an advantage.
• Experience handling multiple companies/entities is an advantage.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to work Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR).
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the General Ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Assist with BIR/tax compliance and audit requirements.
• Organize and maintain accounting documents and records.
