PEB STEEL BUILDINGS CO. LTD. seeks a Project Site Engineer to oversee site execution of PEB and structural steel projects in Cebu.

You will ensure erection, installation, and related activities align with approved drawings, schedules, safety, and quality standards while coordinating with project stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction or structural steel, with proficiency in reading structural and erection drawings and practical experience in PEB systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural/construction engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, structural steel, PEB, or building projects.
• Experience in structural steel erection and Pre-Engineered Building projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and erection drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities related to PEB and structural steel erection.
• Ensure erection and installation works follow approved drawings, statements and project specs.
• Monitor installation of structural frames, columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, roofing, and wall cladding.
• Review and interpret structural, architectural, and erection drawings.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, levels, and alignment prior to and during installation.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, general contractor, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and monitor against project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and project safety requirements.
• Maintain site documentation: daily/weekly reports, RFIs, inspection requests.

About the role

The Project Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the technical and site execution activities of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and structural steel projects. The position ensures that steel erection, installation, and related site activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Site Engineer will coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors, Erection Coordinators, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely completion of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities related to PEB and structural steel erection

• Ensure that erection and installation works are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings, erection drawings, method statements, and project specifications

• Monitor the installation of structural steel frames, columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracing, roofing, wall cladding, and other PEB components

• Review and interpret structural, architectural, and erection drawings

• Verify dimensions, elevations, levels, alignment, and structural member locations prior to and during installation

• Coordinate with the client, consultant, general contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders regarding site activities

• Ensure that structural steel and PEB installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements

• Monitor actual site progress against the approved project schedule and prepare daily and/or weekly progress reports

• Ensure that all site activities comply with company safety policies, project safety requirements, and applicable regulations

• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily site reports, weekly progress reports, site inspection reports, RFI/technical queries, and inspection requests

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field

• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, structural steel, PEB, or building projects

• Experience in structural steel erection and/or Pre-Engineered Building projects is preferred

• Knowledge of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems and structural steel erection

• Ability to read and interpret structural and erection drawings

• Knowledge of construction methods and site execution

• Basic understanding of structural steel connections, bolting, welding, alignment, and erection procedures

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications

• Willing to be assigned to project sites in Cebu and other locations as required

• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required by project operations
