Job summary

J.C. Piñon Construction Inc. is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to lead and manage marine infrastructure projects from planning through completion in the Philippines.

You will ensure safety, efficiency, on-time delivery within budget, and compliance with PPA, DENR and LGU permitting, with strong expertise in pile driving, quay walls, piers and coastal protection.

Strong leadership and communication are essential; proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer required.
• 10+ years in construction.
• 3+ years as Project Manager for marine/port projects.
• Experience with pile driving, quay walls, piers, marine foundations, coastal protection.

About the role

Lead and manage marine infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining compliance with all applicable engineering and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily construction site operations
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget and quality standards
• Monitor project schedules, manpower, equipment, and material utilization
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Supervise procurement activities and contract implementation
• Prepare and present project progress reports and status updates
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures

About you

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience
• At least 3 years of proven experience as Project Manager for marine and port construction projects
• Strong technical background in pile driving works, quay wall construction, pier and marine foundation systems, and revetment and coastal protection works
• Extensive knowledge of applicable government and regulatory requirements, including Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), DENR regulations, and Local Government Unit (LGU) permitting processes
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning and scheduling, cost control and budgeting, contract administration, and construction management and coordination
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience handling large-scale marine or port infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
