SMEC (an SJ Group company) is looking for a project support professional in the Philippines to assist in the management and successful completion of large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in reclamation and civil engineering construction works. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential. The role requires a proactive team player who is willing to be based in Manila.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the project lead / project manager to manage and ensure successful completion of project(s) within the schedule time, cost and quality.
Assist the project lead / project manager to resolve contract related matters for project delivery and closure.
Assist the project lead / project manager to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved methodologies and procedures.
Maintain and manage project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
Attend progress/ad-hoc meetings with client and contractors and manage progress updates to the client on weekly and monthly basis.
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings and senior management.
Ensuring project deadlines are met.
Providing administrative support as needed.
Undertaking project tasks as required.
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for the project.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor/master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized and reputable university.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or reclamation projects.
Preferably past working experience in planning and managing civil engineering construction works that include dredging, reclamation and rock works as well as wharf and jetty construction.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proactive team player with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and resourceful.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
