Job summary

WorkForce Software is seeking an Implementation Services Project Manager to lead the delivery of workforce management software implementations. You will be the primary accountable for project planning, execution, governance, and customer satisfaction, working with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in PM with external customers and 5+ years in enterprise software. Flexible hours, strong consulting background, and knowledge of PM processes are essential

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience with external customers
• 5+ years of project management experience with enterprise software implementations
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions
• Strong consulting experience in project management
• Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle
• PM qualifications such as PMI, Prince2 or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet)
• Additional languages are beneficial
• Willingness to work flexible hours

The WorkForce Software (WFS) Implementation Department is the team responsible for delivering high-quality, on-time, and scalable implementations of WFS solutions across our global client portfolio. We are involved with the full life cycle from sales engagement to successful delivery and implementation of WFS products. Our departments mission is to ensure clients achieve measurable value quickly, supported by consistent methodology, strong governance, and technically skilled project teams.

As a WorkForce Software Implementation Services Project Manager, you will lead customers through the successful delivery of workforce management implementations, serving as the primary point of accountability for project planning, execution, governance, and customer satisfaction.

Project Planning & Governance

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects from kickoff through successful completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and governance activities.
• Proactively manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure project success.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and documentation requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, project teams, and key stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Establish clear expectations, communicate project progress, and provide timely resolution to project risks and delivery challenges.
• Build trusted customer relationships through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

• 3+ years of project management experience working with external customers
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with enterprise software implementations
• Entrepreneurial mindset required, as the role needs capability of rapidly shifting focus and responding to ever-changing conditions

• Knowledge of software development processes and cycle
• Associated experience in project delivery and/or Project Management qualifications such as PMI, Prince2 or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.
• Additional languages are beneficial

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with, or background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management/Time and Attendance modules, considered a bonus.
• Experience in waterfall, agile and iterative implementation methodologies and approaches would be advantageous
