V2 Solutions in Mumbai/Pune is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of cloud initiatives, including migration and modernization, while aligning scope with stakeholders and technical teams.

You will drive adherence to best practices in security and compliance, steer Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage budgets and timelines, and report project status to executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT project management with 3–4 years in cloud projects.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams. Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate across cross-functional teams including cloud architects, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders. Ensure adherence to GCP best practices, compliance, and security standards. Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes. Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates. Manage vendor relationships and third-party dependencies as needed.

Mandatory skills*

10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 4 years in cloud-based projects. Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture. Proven experience in cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or cloud-native application delivery. Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.

Desired skills*

GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Project Manager). Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud security. Background in industries such as BFSI, retail, or healthcare is a plus.
