Job summary

Wisc Inc. is seeking an on-site ELV project supervisor to oversee works, ensure safety and quality, and report progress daily. You will coordinate with multiple trades, verify drawings, and manage QA/QC, RFAs, and as-built documentation throughout construction and handover.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with design and client representatives, with emphasis on adherence to drawings, schedules, and installation standards for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and manage works and workers on site to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and quality.
• Ensure materials, works and workers are safe, organized and neatly done on site.
• Report daily on status and progress: manpower, forecasted vs actual works, variances, issues.
• Ensure design/construction drawings are followed; inform supervisor if conflicts arise.
• Direct site coordination to deliver ELV products/services per design documents.
• Prepare an RFA detailing design vs proposed location/material for supervisor review.
• Verify installed items align with approved specifications.
• Monitor manpower adherence to avoid project delays.
• Apply QA/QC and installation best practices; notify contractor for rectification when needed.
• Record draft Redlines/As-Built plans during construction, especially First Fix/Roughing-ins.
• Investigate site problems and assist senior engineering with solutions.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection and Architectural teams to avoid conflicts.
• Organize benchmarks for installations and secure client/senior approval.
• Witness Testing/Commissioning of ELV systems and reschedule if tests fail.
• Ensure final deliverables: Test Results, As Built Plans, User Manuals and Specifications.
• Create as-built drawings for completed works on time and review sub-contractors' outputs.
• Prepare paperwork for punchlisting and supervise rectifications to meet client qualifications.
• Attend Site Inspections and collaborate with Design Workshop.
• Prepare Site Implementation and Project Management Compliance documents.
• Prepare Gantt Chart/Project Schedule with complete sequence of works.

Job description

• Monitor, supervise and manage works and our workers on site and ensure of efficiency, effectivity and quality.
• Ensure our materials, works and workers are always safe, organized and neat/neatly done on site.
• Report on daily basis for the status and progress of the project. Daily Reports shall include: manpower, forecasted works, actual works done, variance from the forecast, issues need to be addressed etc.
• Ensure that the design Drawings / Construction drawings are followed and implemented properly. In case that the drawings cannot be implemented due to site conflicts, he/she should inform the immediate supervisor.
• Directly manage the site coordination process to ensure that ELV products and services are delivered in accordance with the client requirements and the respective design documents.
• Provide a Request for Approval (RFA) Form for the above-mentioned instances. The RFA should include details like Design Drawing vs the proposed Alternative location/material to his/her immediate supervisor.
• Monitor and check that items/materials installed on site are aligned with the approved material specifications.
• Monitor and report to his/her immediate supervisor if the manpower committed by the Contractor is not followed, to avoid possible delay in the project.
• Check and implement QAQC and installation best practices to ensure quality is delivered for every project of WISC. If works are deemed unsatisfactory or with poor workmanship, he/she should inform the Contractor for works rectification and send report to his/her immediate supervisor.
• Ensure that a draft Redlines/As Built plans is continuously being recorded during the Construction stage. Especially during the First Fix / Roughing-ins, to ensure that the actual routing of the conduit is being documented.
• Investigate site problems related to the design documents and assist the senior engineering manager in developing solutions, in cooperation with other professionals, to overcome the problems as appropriate.
• Closely coordinate with the Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection and Architectural Contractors to avoid installation conflicts.
• Organize, prepare and record benchmarks for installations for checking and sign-off by the senior engineering manager and the client. Be present in the benchmarking/approval of installations of PM or Client representative. Then make sure all final works/installations comply with the signed-off benchmarks.
• Present and witness Testing Commissioning of the ELV Systems and ensure that all systems should pass the mentioned activity. For systems/items that failed the Testing and Commissioning, a record should be kept, and re-testing should be rescheduled.
• Ensure that at the end of the project, Test Results, As Built Plans, User Manuals and Compiled Technical Specification of devices installed are submitted.

• Create as-built drawings of completed and accepted works on time and in time for handover, and/or review them if sub-contractors are hired for the build/works.
• Prepare paperwork for finished works/installations for punchlisting then supervise the rectification works and make sure all punchlist are rectified as per agreed qualifications for client acceptance.

• Present in Site Inspection of Awarded Project and collaborate with the Design Workshop
• Preparation of Site Implementation and Project Management Compliance documents
• Preparation of Gantt Chart/ Project Schedule with Complete Sequence of Works
