Trends Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead initiatives from initiation to completion in our Makati office. You will plan activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure delivery aligned with business goals, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps). PMP or similar certs are preferred.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation through completion. The role involves planning project activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring successful delivery in accordance with business objectives, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management and customers.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Manage project budgets, costs, and resource utilization.
Facilitate project meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and governance processes.
Manage change requests and evaluate their impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project reports.
Coordinate project testing, implementation, and transition to operations.
Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
Drive continuous process improvement and promote project management best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project management.
Experience managing infrastructure, network, systems, cloud, or application projects is an advantage.
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid.
