Job summary

77GSI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own end-to-end project management across web application initiatives in the Philippines. You will lead cross-functional teams, define work plans, manage budgets and risks, and deliver projects on schedule with clear governance and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of PM experience, with strong communication skills, SDLC familiarity, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. PMP/Prince2 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Web and Mobile Application / Website Build projects.

Job description

• End-to-end project management and ownership of the Project Management Lifecycle and its process from the beginning toend
• Management of project timelines, on-time delivery of project activities, project work plan, management of projects technicalissues and risks, submission of regular (weekly/periodic) reports and updates, and project documentation
• Below are the high-level service deliverables:
  • Oversee Project Timeline, Budget and Scope
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned in terms of responsibilities and schedule
  • Perform Project Management based on BDO Enterprise Project Management office standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Form, lead and coordinate project teams (cross-functional: Business, Technical, Operations, Legal, Procurement, etc.)
• Manage all activities in the project lifecycle (initiation; planning; execution; monitoring and controlling; and closing) across oneor more lines of business
• Consult with business partners and all stakeholders to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work
• Prepare project charter, business case and obtain approval for funding
• Identify and monitor work plan and all tasks needed to achieve project goal
• Implement control and reporting structures for project monitoring regarding risk and change management based on defined governance methods and standard processes (e.g. risks and issues mitigation and assumptions clearances)
• Conducts post-mortem and project closure reviews, CSAT surveys and project team’s performance appraisals
• Create and deliver presentation to top management on project goals and plans, including progress reports
• Oversee sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors
• Ensure compliance of infrastructure and applications with IT standards, policies and guidelines, as well as other financial
• Define and monitor all project key constraints
• Conduct status reviews with project teams, account managers and customers on a regular basis
• Develop and implement project communication plans
• Contribute to the creation of offers, contracts and time schedules as well as to the cost calculation
• Create, review and implement changes on internal innovation/ project management processes in alignment with the enterprises policies and procedures
• Develop and implement project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
• Maintain a harmonious working relationship with all project team members, partners and stakeholders

Education

Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.

Work Experience

• At least 5-10 years of solid background in end-to-end Project Management experience in web application development, preferably in the financial services industry
• Manages all types of projects ranging from low-level to high-level
• Experience in managing Web and Mobile Application / Website Build projects, preferably involving Enterprise-level Frontend Systems
• Experience working on different PM frameworks, preferably certifiedKnowledge and experience in managing projects that follow an SDLC process
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior management and lead project teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge Area

• Advanced knowledge of project management practices and concepts; PMP or Prince 2 Certification is preferred but not required
• Agile/SCRUM/ITIL trained/certified is preferred but not required
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Web and Mobile Application / Website Management Systems preferably Adobe Experience Manager, Analytics, Search Engine Optimization
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities (IT-related concepts, problems and issues)
• Expert knowledge Cost Management, Budgeting and Forecasting; creatingbusiness case, contracts
