Job summary

Perforum, based in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Finance-driven lead to steer the core banking system project. You will translate accounting needs, regulatory obligations (such as BSP/MORB), and product-administration realities into concrete system requirements and drive delivery end-to-end.

You will own the end-to-end plan, run UAT, data-migration validation, cutover planning, and coordinate with IT, Engineering, and vendors.

• Lead the core banking system project from the Finance side: own the plan end to end - scope, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking - and act as Finance's subject-matter voice across vendor selection, design, and rollout.
• Run UAT, data-migration validation, and cutover planning from the Finance side, coordinating closely with IT/Engineering and vendors.
• Connect the dots across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance - surfacing regulatory gaps tied to system limitations and helping close them, and keeping Finance leadership informed on progress, risk, and dependencies.

About the role:

What you'll do:

• Lead the core banking system project from the Finance side: own the plan end to end - scope, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking - and act as Finance's subject-matter voice across vendor selection, design, and rollout.
• Run UAT, data-migration validation, and cutover planning from the Finance side, coordinating closely with IT/Engineering and vendors.
• Connect the dots across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance - surfacing regulatory gaps tied to system limitations and helping close them, and keeping Finance leadership informed on progress, risk, and dependencies.

What you'll own:

• Turn accounting needs, regulatory obligations (such as BSP/MORB), and product-administration realities into concrete system requirements, and manage delivery against them.
• Build and drive the accounting-backlog remediation plan with real milestones, pulling in Finance colleagues and outside help where it makes sense.
• Get month-end and period-end close and reporting, based on the core banking system, integrated directly with the GL - and keep it that way.
• Take the Odoo accounting-automation work into properly owned, documented, controlled, and audit-ready process.
• Identify and prioritise efficiency gains - automating manual entries, reconciliations, and reporting, using AI where it applies - to cut team effort and errors.
• Contribute to IPO-readiness work wherever it touches financial systems and controls.
