BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-level banking system projects across the SDLC. The role focuses on core banking applications such as GL, Collections, CIF, and AMLA while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with external vendors, and deliver projects on time and within scope. A strong track record in implementing core banking platforms is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience.
• At least 3 years handling enterprise-level banking systems (core banking, AMLA, CIF, GL).

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering enterprise-level projects related to core banking applications, including General Ledger, Collections, Customer Information File (CIF), Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) systems, etc.. The role requires end-to-end project management across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and technology standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of core banking system projects.
• Manage cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and external vendors.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and status reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for solution delivery and integration.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Manage change requests, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Ensure quality assurance and user acceptance testing are completed successfully.
• Support post-implementation reviews and transition to operations.
• Deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements impacting banking operations.
• Other function that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years handling enterprise-level banking systems.
• Proven track record in implementing core banking applications such as GL, Collections, CIF, AMLA, etc.
