Job Description

People in this role perform project management responsibilities in either waterfall or agile methodology, create and maintain project plans and status reports, track budgets and risks, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves facilitating meetings, coordinating with vendors and third parties, and supporting post-implementation activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/maintain Project Plan and Work Plan, securing necessary approvals.
• Prepare/maintain Project Status Reports, reporting on delivery against schedule, quality, and scope.
• Track project budget and costs as applicable.
• Document risks and issues, facilitate resolution, and escalate as needed.
• Participate in and facilitate relevant meetings.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external policies, security and legal/regulatory requirements; support audits; facilitate post-implementation close-out as applicable.
• Ensure completion of required documentation at project end.
• Manage the Scrum process with coordination from the Scrum Team in Agile methodology.
• Ensure the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules; act as servant-leader as applicable.
• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) as needed and ensure they are conducted as scheduled.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a college/university or equivalent in Information Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager. (Non negotiable)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with heavy Project Management and Stakeholder Management skills. (Non negotiable)
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in software implementation/development. (Non negotiable)
• At least 5 years of experience in managing 3rd parties, vendors and/or service providers. (Non negotiable)
• Experience in banking/credit card operations environment required. (Non negotiable)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with waterfall, agile and other project management methodologies. (Non negotiable)
• Experience with Agile Frameworks (Lean/Kanban/Scrum). (Non negotiable)
• Experience in Scrum process. (Non negotiable)
• Broad understanding of the different segments of the banking business and the ability to relate unit operations and performance metrics to the overall business.
