Job summary

Software Ventures International in Ortigas, Pasig, seeks an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead multiple consulting engagements and supervise technical teams. You will manage requirements, plan all phases, and audit progress to ensure adherence to specifications and design.

Job description

• Manages one or more teams of technical staff tasked with the development of application systems.
• In-charge of managing the requirements of the application systems under development.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates all phases of multiple consulting engagements. Likewise, plans and monitors the progress of the team/s for compliance with standards and with the detailed development plans.
• Initiates project “walk throughs” to audit progress and conformance of developments against specifications and design.
• Responsible for over-all planning and coordination to ensure smooth implementation of the application systems.
• Influences the strategic direction and proficiently applies consulting approaches and remains current on emerging consulting theories and technology trends.
• Manages profitability of engagements and is responsible for spending decisions within agreed budgets and the control of physical resources and equipment.
• Seeks senior management support and approval as necessary when difficulties are encountered with respect to schedules, resources, staff matters or technical issues.
• Participates in the negotiation of contracts with clients, targets and markets consulting services to existing and potential clients and develops and cultivates client relationships at management and executive levels.
• Handles complex medium-sized accounts.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Information Technology or equivalent
• Atleast 5 years related experience
• Must be able to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally
• Must be highly motivated and be able to adapt to various project environment
• With good scholastic record.
