Job summary

The Depot Station Inc in Cavite, Philippines is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and photovoltaic projects. The role requires on-site construction management and coordination with clients, supervisors, and teams.

Job Description

1. Position: Project Manager

2. Language: Mandarin and Tagalog

3. Education background: bachelor's degree or above, majoring in engineering, photovoltaic engineering, electrical engineering and automation, mechatronics, etc. Those with a solid foundation in professional knowledge of photovoltaic systems and power engineering are ideal.

4. Work experience: At least 2 years of on-site project construction management experience in engineering fields. Those with experience in construction management of PV power stations (including ground-based, rooftop, and agricultural solar types) will be given priority. Familiarity with the entire process of construction for photovoltaic projects, from civil engineering, rack installation, component laying to electrical wiring, is preferred. Those with experience in EPC project management are also given priority.

5. Key skills and certificate:

5.1 Be familiar with relevant laws, regulations, standards and norms concerning national and local construction projects as well as the solar industry.

5.2 Master the working principle of PV systems, the characteristics of components/inverters and other equipment, and the installation and commissioning process, and be able to predict construction technical risks.

5.3 Proficient in using CAD to draw construction drawings and on-site layout diagrams, skilled in Office software (such as Excel/PPT), capable of independently compiling construction schedule plans and Gantt charts, and tracking the progress and implementation.

5.4 Those holding a first or second-level constructor certificate (in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering or architectural engineering), a construction worker certificate, or relevant qualification certificates in the photovoltaic industry will be given priority.

6. Key ability:

6.1 Possessing strong communication and coordination skills, capable of efficiently connecting with the client, supervisor, construction teams and suppliers, and resolving on-site cross-operation conflicts.

6.2 Possessing problem-solving skills, capable of responding promptly to technical issues, safety hazards and unexpected situations during construction (such as weather influences, material shortages, etc.).

6.3 Possessing the awareness of cost and quality control, one can optimize resource allocation and control construction costs while ensuring construction quality.

6.4 Strong sense of responsibility, with excellent team management skills, capable of driving the construction team to execute efficiently, and having a proactive working attitude and the ability to withstand pressure.

7. Others:

7.1 Be able to adapt to the outdoor working environment of photovoltaic projects (such as high temperature, open-air, remote areas, etc.), and accept long-term on-site presence or business trips to other places

7.2 Driver's license is required, enabling proficient vehicle operation and facilitating on-site inspection, material coordination and other tasks.

7.3 There is no acrophobia, hypertension or other diseases that are not suitable for outdoor work, and the physical condition can meet the high-intensity work requirements on site.
