Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a site supervisor to manage day-to-day construction activities in line with approved plans, specs, and schedule. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

The successful candidate will monitor productivity, manage the construction schedule, and act as the main liaison between owner, consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and management, while tracking budget variations and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work follows approved plans, specifications, and schedule
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, materials, equipment deliveries and placement
• Prepare and monitor the construction schedule
• Coordinate upcoming activities with the owner, consultant, and subcontractors
• Monitor productivity and attendance
• Ensure workers follow proper site procedures and safety rules
• Monitor material usage and prevent unnecessary wastage
• Ensure construction is performed according to drawings and specifications
• Act as the main site contact between the owner, contractor, consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and management
• Monitor work against the approved budget and track variations and change orders
