Job summary

Taikisha Philippines Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the on-site execution of electro-mechanical projects in Laguna/Calamba.

You will implement approved designs, review specifications, and manage materials and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget. The ideal candidate holds a valid mechanical engineering license, has 1–3 years in similar construction roles, and can read plans, estimate costs, and coordinate CAD-based design tasks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PE license in mechanical engineering.
• 1–3 years of electro-mechanical construction experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and estimate construction costs.
• Monitor project schedule and site implementation.

Responsibilities

• Implement approved design/specifications and select materials.
• Monitor project schedule and oversee on-site execution.
• Perform material take-off, ordering, and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist in design and estimation tasks; CAD may be used.

Job description

Project Engineers are responsible in the implementation of approved design, specifications and materials of contracted mechanical or electrical projects.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• With 1 to 3 years work experience in an Electro - Mechanical engineering construction company
• Able to interpret plans and specification, cost of construction materials and contract administration
• Need to monitor project schedule and implementation at site
• Material Take off and ordering, manage subcon to follow standard
• Experience in design and estimation works is an advantage
• Knowledgeable of HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Utility and Piping system works
• Knowledge of CAD application is also an advantage
• Computer Literate
• Independent and proactive, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Strong ability to work with accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic, high-volume, and time-sensitive environment
• Willing to work overtime, including during holidays and weekends.
• Willing to stay in company provided staff house
