The Project Engineer – IT/OT Systems will design, integrate, test, document and hand over IT and OT solutions, bridging traditional IT infra with building, industrial and operational systems. The role requires close collaboration with customers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and vendors, plus strong technical writing, meeting minutes and RACI management to ensure

Qualifications

• Has experience in project management in domains such as info-communications, technology, system integration, or telecommunications industries
• Has Certificate such as PMP or CCNA ( or preferably in Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology or Computer Networking )
• Has at least a C grade in English at CGE O or N levels
• Is willing to consider work-study program at ITE or Polytechnic
• Is opened to working in the ASEAN region and willing to travel as required
• Has strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across organizational levels
• Has resilience to work under high pressure, multitask, and adapt in fast-paced, matrixed environments such as construction
• Is willing to work after office hours, weekends, and overtime to meet customer needs

Responsibilities

• Project activities, deliverables and dependencies are identified and completed according to agreed deadlines and milestones.
• A RACI matrix is created, maintained and updated to clearly establish ownership, accountability, consultation and communication requirements for key project activities and deliverables.
• Roles and responsibilities across customers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams are clearly understood and communicated.
• Meeting decisions, action items and technical issues are properly documented, assigned, tracked and closed.
• Technical submissions, drawings, method statements, testing and commissioning documentation, and handover documents are prepared and submitted on time.
• Project progress is monitored against contractual and customer requirements.
• Payment milestones are identified and tracked, with the necessary technical documentation and evidence prepared to support timely progress claims and payment processing.
• Project schedules, deliverables, RACI responsibilities and payment milestones are aligned so that technical completion can be translated into contractual and commercial completion.
• Risks, delays, interface gaps and unclear responsibilities that may affect project delivery or payment milestones are identified early and escalated appropriately.
• Commitments made to customers and other stakeholders are followed through to completion.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer – IT/OT Systems is a hands‑on role responsible for supporting the design, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, documentation and handover of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. The Project Engineer is expected to take an active role in project execution. This includes preparing technical and project documentation, drawings and submissions, recording and following up on action items, preparing accurate minutes of meetings, and developing and maintaining the project's RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed) matrix. The role bridges traditional IT infrastructure with building, industrial and operational systems. The Project Engineer will work closely with customers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, system vendors and internal technical teams to ensure that IT and OT systems are properly designed, integrated, secured, tested and commissioned. The Project Engineer must be able to attend and contribute effectively at project and technical meetings, communicate technical matters clearly, and build stakeholder confidence through preparation, technical competence, responsiveness and follow‑through. Requirements:

• Is skilled in Wireshark capturing and interpretation for network analysis
• Is skilled in Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis and Fishbone concepts
• Is opened to working in the ASEAN region and willing to travel as required
• Has strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across organizational levels
• Has resilience to work under high pressure, multitask, and adapt in fast‑paced, matrixed environments such as construction
• Is able to use Vision or AutoCAD in IT, BIM and MEP environments
• Is willing to work after office hours, weekends, and overtime to meet customer needs
