Job summary

i3 Technologies Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to lead site inspections, schedule and monitor projects, and coordinate cross-functional teams in Mandaluyong, Philippines. You will interact with clients, assess needs, and ensure on-site execution meets safety, budget, and quality standards.

The role requires a degree in engineering or IT and at least 2 years in a supervisory project context, with proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication, Engineering (Electronic), or IT
• At least 2 years’ supervisory project/site management experience
• Familiarity with the Construction project cycle
• Experience with Auxiliary System projects preferred
• Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, S-Curve, PERT-CPM
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections/oculars to assist System Designers
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects

• Identify and mitigate risks in safety, budget, delays

• Create frameworks to measure progress (e.g., Gantt charts)
• Establish methods for monitoring installation quality
• Ensure compliance with codes, practices, standards, and specs
• Initiate and attend construction, kickoff, system proposal, and turnover meetings
• Understand single-line diagrams and update floor plans and shop drawings
• Prepare documents for assigned projects and report to Department Head

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conducting site inspections / oculars to assist System Designers

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects

• Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the implementation team: leadmen, installers

• Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing the company on the field

• Identifying and mitigating potential risks in terms of safety, budget, delays, etc.

• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, personnel performance, device and cabling / network installations, and reporting on the project’s status.

• Cooperating, communicating, collaborating with the sales and design teams together with other project participants to create a more efficient project methods in order to maintain or increase the project’s profitability

• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.

• Creating and developing frameworks to measure the project’s progress and activity i.e. Gantt chart

• Establishing methods for monitoring the quality of installations

• Ensuring the project’s compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications

• Initiating and attending construction, kick-off, system proposal, project update, turn over meetings

• Understand single-line diagrams, device plotting on floor plans, shop drawings, system concept presentations, and update them as needed, etc

• Creating and or preparing required documents for assigned project.

• Reporting to Department Head

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication, Engineering (Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, in a supervisory position in project/site management preferred

• Familiar with the project cycle in the Construction Industry

• Experience with implementation of Auxiliary System projects preferred

• Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, S-Curve, PERT-CPM an advantage

• Good oral and written communication skills
