Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Electronics, or related Engineering field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing preparation.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and review engineering and construction drawings.
• 1–3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, MEPF, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industries (preferred).
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold rooms, insulated panels, HVAC is highly preferred.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and site supervision.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar project management software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and travel nationwide as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and revise engineering drawings, layouts, and construction plans.
• Interpret and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements for cold storage and temperature-controlled facilities.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation of refrigeration systems and related MEPF works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations meet drawings and safety standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients for smooth project execution.
• Project scheduling, manpower planning, material take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders and changes with cost and schedule impacts.
• Monitor progress, workmanship quality, safety compliance, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, revisions, permits, punch lists, and records.
• Supervise site personnel and subcontractors to ensure productivity and compliance.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

We are seeking a CAD-proficient Project Engineer to lead the planning, design coordination, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, overseeing site activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and revise engineering drawings, layouts, and construction plans using AutoCADand other CAD software

• Interpret and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements for cold storage, refrigeration, and temperature-controlled facilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation of refrigeration systems, insulated panels, cold rooms, support structures, and related MEPF works

• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, Logistics, Installation Teams, Contractors, and Clients to ensure smooth project execution

• Project scheduling, manpower planning, material take-offs, cost estimation, and project budgeting

• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, owner-requested changes, and their cost and schedule impacts

• Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, safety compliance, testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, revisions, permits, punch lists, and project records

• Supervise site personnel and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality workmanship, and compliance with project requirements

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment and progress reports with accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Electronics, or related Engineering field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing preparation (Required)
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and review engineering and construction drawings
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, MEPF, refrigeration, HVAC, cold storage, or related industries (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold rooms, insulated sandwich panels, HVAC systems, and temperature-controlled facilities is highly preferred
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and site supervision
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar project management software is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage several project activities simultaneously
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites nationwide as required
