VR CONCEPT INC. is seeking a Project Dispatcher to coordinate day-to-day project execution, ensuring plans, schedules, and resources align to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and quality.

You will monitor progress, allocate manpower, report on status, and collaborate with site teams, supervisors, and management to resolve issues and keep multiple projects moving smoothly.

About the role

The Project Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects to ensure that work is properly planned, resources are effectively utilized, and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within the agreed timeline. The role serves as a key coordination point between project teams, manpower, supervisors, and management. The Project Dispatcher monitors project progress, addresses operational issues, and ensures that manpower and resources are properly deployed to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall execution and progress of assigned projects.
• Ensure that project activities are carried out according to approved plans, schedules, and company standards.
• Coordinate and monitor manpower deployment based on project requirements and workload.
• Monitor daily project progress and compare actual accomplishments against the project schedule.
• Coordinate with supervisors, site personnel, contractors, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify delays, manpower shortages, operational issues, and other potential project risks, and escalat... them to management when necessary.
• Ensure that project activities are completed within the agreed timeline.
• Maintain accurate records of project schedules, manpower deployment, progress, and completion status.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, manpower utilization, and outstanding activities.
• Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize activities based on urgency and deadlines.

About you

• Experience in project coordination, dispatching, operations, construction, engineering, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage manpower effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to monitor multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar project tracking and reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing project requirements.
• Willingness to coordinate with field personnel and work beyond regular hours when project requirements demand it.
