BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently looking for a PROJECT COORDINATOR (3-4 mos. project-based with possibility of contract extension) to be assigned in Mariveles, Bataan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• License (Professional Regulation Commission) is an advantage.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, project coordination, or engineering services.

• With at least 3 years in a power plant, heavy industry, or related facility, with hands-on exposure to civil and structural maintenance (e.g., foundations, structural supports, tanks, drains, roofing systems, platforms).

• Coal power plant theories & principles

• Knowledge in Cost Management and Control

• Knowledgeable in PTW/LOTO, JHA/Risk Assessment, STARRT Procedures

• Computerized maintenance & engineering systems (i.e. Maximo RBO, strategy optimizer, SAP, Primavera)

• Knowledge in incident investigation & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method

Job Overview:

• To coordinate and oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of maintenance projects and support services to ensure operational reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role bridges technical execution with administrative support, enabling timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance activities aligned with the plant’s performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil and structural maintenance projects, including foundations, tanks, steel structures, drainage systems, and plant facilities.

• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with technical specifications, contractual obligations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

• Coordinate support services such as scaffolding, painting, rigging, access platforms, and waste management activities.

• Conduct site inspections and support structural condition assessments to identify maintenance needs and corrective actions.

• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, maintenance reports, contracts, and as-built drawings.

• Support contract administration, vendor evaluations, quotation reviews, and warranty monitoring activities.

• Utilize CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) to manage work orders, maintenance requests, and project tracking.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Suppliers, and Vendors to ensure effective communication and project execution.

• Promote a strong safety culture by participating in risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance initiatives.
