Job summary

Manila Water Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Management leader to oversee the PMO community, standardize procedures, and drive best practices across ongoing and upcoming projects.

You will collaborate with Project Controllers, Managers, and cross-functional teams to map schedules, monitor progress, and secure timely project execution while optimizing resource allocation and workflows.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any College Degree and/or Master’s Degree holder.
• At least 10 years relevant work experience.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge in project management process, tools and project life cycle.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills, Analytical, Critical-thinker.

Responsibilities

• Line management duties for Manila Water’s Project Management community, monitoring, auditing and implementing PM tools and procedures, applying standardization of procedures and Implementation of best practices.
• Support of core Project Management activities such as monitoring of timely payment of invoices to vendors, timely closure of projects or maintenance and update of project documentation.
• Works closely with the Project Controllers and Project Managers to map out and update project schedules.
• Monitors closely the list of projects, to ensure correct and updated information, in close collaborating with other project managers and enterprise-wide departments.
• Consolidates the schedule information across project management group to present an overall comprehensive view of the ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Works closely with the strategic planning team and proponents to define and map out the upcoming projects.
• Manages the interface with the proponent to establish the commencement and gateways of the project and allocates the PM
• Builds and manages the resource plan for the core delivery team in order to ensure the availability of resources to be assigned to projects and allocates them in accordance with project requirements.
• Works closely with the Programme Directors to allocate the resources (PMs and Project Development Officers) to projects, based on expertise, capability and workload.
• Works closely with the Contracts and Construction Management Head to deploy Construction Managers and Site Engineers based on expertise, capability and workload.
• Works closely with the Project Support office Head, Project Directors, Design Team Head and other relevant department heads to coordinate overall project workload and source availability and propose projects or packages of projects for outsourcing, for design and construction supervision.
• Works closely with the QA team to ensure the implementation of the above items and the use of updated tools and procedures.
