Job summary

Manila Water Infratech Solutions, Inc. seeks a senior construction manager to provide direction on overall construction strategies, align stakeholders, and deliver projects within cost, time, quality, safety, and environmental targets.

You will develop performance metrics, ensure adequate resourcing, and drive constructability analyses across water and wastewater networks, leveraging 12+ years of experience and PMP certification (advantage).

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with strong construction management background.
• Professional or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in construction/engineering projects.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Job description

ROLE PURPOSE:

• Provides guidance and direction in defining overall construction strategies and methodologies in alignment with the key stakeholders, to deliver project construction within defined Project Delivery metrics, including but not limited to: Cost, Time, Quality, Safety and Environment to the Department.
• Develops and implements performance improvement strategies and metrics.
• Aligns resource requirements to ensure projects are adequately resourced with the appropriate construction management skills and experience across a diverse client base

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implemented corporate project portfolio (construction phase)
• Construction Resource Plan
• Constructability analysis, Constructability options

• Approved construction methodology: Justification for Variation Order (VO) / Time Extension (TE) / Time Suspension (TS) within regulatory parameters; Construction Management Control and Monitoring (e.g. Regular Quarterback, Minutes of Meeting, Regular KRAs, Project Reviews, S-curve (project status);
• Reviewed Work Accomplishment Report/ Approved Billings
• Construction Management Issued Resolutions
• Process and/or Standards improvement
• Department Strategy and TE Plans
• Approved tactical and executional plan
• Construction KPI specified in project plan
• Department issues log, risk template, control plans

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Engineer
• Preferably with Professional or Master’s degree in Engineering
• With at least 12-year work experience in construction management in construction and engineering environment ideally in Water, Wastewater and Network Projects
• PMP certified is an advantage
