Job summary

Manila Water Infratech Solutions is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead the definition and execution of project construction strategies aligned with stakeholders, delivering on cost, time, quality, safety and environmental targets.

The role requires a Licensed Civil Engineer with 12+ years in construction management, preferably in water, wastewater and network projects, and a track record of directing multi-disciplinary teams across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• 12+ years in construction management.
• Experience in water, wastewater and network projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and direction in defining overall construction strategies and methodologies in alignment with key stakeholders to deliver project construction within defined delivery metrics (Cost, Time, Quality, Safety, Environment).
• Develops and implements performance improvement strategies and metrics.
• Aligns resource requirements to ensure projects are adequately resourced with the appropriate construction management skills and experience across a diverse client base.
• Validates and approves capacity plan for multiyear project portfolio ensuring department can deliver variable construction loading.
• Designs and develops capability building programs to promote continued professional development for Construction Managers.
• Reviews and validates construction methodologies and best practices and their deployment across all projects.
• Institutionalizes construction management best practices and provides guidance and support to construction management functions in Manila Water and external clients.
• Continuously develops the construction management policies and processes.
• Provides leadership to ensure all projects are delivered with full compliance to policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides guidance and direction in defining overall construction strategies and methodologies in alignment with the key stakeholders, to deliver project construction within defined Project Delivery metrics, including but not limited to: Cost, Time, Quality, Safety and Environment to the Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• Preferably with Professional or Master’s degree in Engineering
• With at least 12-year work experience in construction management in construction and engineering environment ideally in Water, Wastewater and Network Projects
