Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is recruiting a Project Accountant in Manila to join our Project Services team. You will manage PPCs, invoicing workflows, and payments runs while supporting month-end reporting and project close-out activities.

The role requires 3+ years in cost control or project accounting within EPCM settings and knowledge of accounting systems. This position offers a stable career path and exposure to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial management in EPCM environments.
• Experience in industries like construction, mining or oil & gas is preferred.
• Knowledge of computerised accounting cost control systems and their operations.

Responsibilities

• Generate Progress Payment Certificates (PPC) and collate supporting documentation for invoices.
• Generate and process invoice approval forms (IAFs) and maintain relevant registers.
• Prepare and transmit payments runs per project procedures.
• Assist in Month End Reporting and Journals as required.
• Coordinate with Projects personnel, Clients and Vendors to resolve invoice/payment queries.
• Ensure complete project close out and hand over reports to the client in a timely manner.

Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Project Accountant to join our growing Project Services team in Manila.

The tasks you'll perform

• Generate Progress Payment Certificate (PPC) and collate all supporting documentation that is relevant to the invoice.
• Generate and process invoice approval forms (IAFs) and maintain relevant registers in accordance with applicable procedures.Match / Batch / Vouch / Payment.
• Preparation and transmittal of payments runs in accordance with project specific procedures.
• Assist in Month End Reporting and Journals as required.
• Coordinate with Projects personnel, Clients and Vendors to resolve invoice / payment queries.
• Ensure a complete project close out is carried out and all reports, accounts and files are formally handed over to the client in a timely manager.

The expertise you'll bring

• Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Finance, Commerce, related discipline or suitable Project Controls qualification.
• 3+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial management, ideally in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) project environment for industries like construction, mining or oil & gas.
• Knowledge of computerised accounting cost control systems, and their operations and applications.
